Awesome
I liked staying at this hostel. Staff was really nice and helpful. The room was decent, bit basic but had everything that it needed.
Bathrooms could be a bit better.

Great atmosphere, great place for solo travellers!
The social atmosphere for a solo traveller is great! There are always people around and the staff are great at getting people involved! Made some amazing friends.
The beds were a little basic and the lockers were small, it was cold at night.

Social hostel with perfect location
The staff was really friendly and helpfull and the atmosphere was very good. It is definitely easy to meet people here! I stayed in one of the dorms upstairs. The beds were good and the room was clean. Sometimes a bit sandy ofcourse, but what can you expect next to the beach. The dorm also has lockers to keep your valuables in. * The diveshop across the road, Finsanity, is really nice as well. Tom, the owner, is a great guy and him and his staff will give you a perfect experience.

Great hostel just outside of the main touristy bit
The staff here are wonderful and always so friendly. The hostel is located near the pier, it’ll take you less than five minutes to walk there from the ferry. The main touristy bit is a 10/20 minute walk away. If you want to stay in the middle of the party bit (Sairee beach) then I wouldn’t recommend this. Personally, I preferred staying here and walking to the bars so for me this was a great location. I moved to Sairee beach then ended up moving back to islander a day after. Met some lovely people here, good for solo travellers that want a mix between socialising and having some nights in :) also go to coconut monkey for food, it was amazing and right on the beach too.
Although it felt clean, the floors in the rooms could do with a mop every now and then. It was swept everyday but I felt like it was never really clean - kind of expected from a hostel near a beach anyway. That’s the only negative I can think of and it wasn’t really a problem; didn’t affect my stay here at all.
